Make A difference in a childs life
Why be a staff member or counselor at Circle V?
Give children the possibility of a life-changing experience:
• Give campers an opportunity to sing camp songs around a campfire, hike, sleep in a cabin or tent, do arts and crafts, go to the beach, swim at our pool, learn about nature and meet new friends
• An opportunity to grow and share faith
• Mentor a child and possibly inspire them to succeed in school and life
• Meet a great group of people who share the same goals as you
• Take part in an organization with over 65 years of camping tradition

Become a Wrangler

A summer job as a Circle V Ranch Counselor (known as a wrangler) or staff member is extraordinarily demanding and you should only consider applying for a position if you love working with children. Life at camp requires staff members to sacrifice their normal living habits and serve as role models to our campers. Successful counselors are dynamic, energetic and patient people who thrive on being outdoors and recognize that children need support and encouragement to be responsible adults.
While role modeling for campers is the most important aspect of this job, being a counselor also provides an incredible opportunity to develop friendships with other staff. Circle V Ranch is a very close knit community and there is something special about living and working with people who share your enthusiasm for working with children.
Our returning counselors love Staff Week where they have an opportunity to reunite with the friends they have been in touch with throughout the year. At the end of the summer you will be amazed at the friendships you have made.
